Biblical Integration

Integrating God and His word cannot be done solely in Bible class. It must be interwoven into all subjects of learning in order to see the deeper purpose in all things and how students and humans are a part of the world and universe. According to Dr. Christian Overman, there are five areas based on Biblical Truths that will help students explore and shape their Biblical Worldview: God, Creation, Humanity, Moral Order, and Purpose.

As we develop our curriculum, we will integrate these Biblical Truths into each unit of the subjects. For example, when starting our science unit on body organs, students will be asked one or two open-ended questions on God's intentional design of our lungs and his perspective of how we should care about and maintain our lungs. This builds a deeper consciousness in children beyond typical science and a deeper Biblical worldview.

What was made? How was it created? How does God sustain his creation? How do we value God's creation and take care of it?
