TTCS will use the Iowa Academic Standards and be required to administer the ISASP (Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress) once a year in the spring.​​​​

Purposeful Design will be used as a resource to teach the standards for several subject areas such as math, science, and Bible. We are currently developing the curriculum and aligning the standards in Purposeful Design. We will be using the most current edition, 3rd edition of Purposeful Design.

Faith Journey Portfolios
​
We will use Faith Journey Portfolios to assess each child's walk with Christ and their spiritual transformation. Faith Journey Portfolios will pose thought provoking, open-ended questions and allow your child to reflect each year on his/her faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Faith Journey Portfolios allow teachers to open a door to a child's heart and guide children. The portfolios are shared with parents as a communication tool to build our partnership to guide children together.
